QURGHON TEPPA, October 16, 2013, Asia-Plus -- 372 residents of Tajikistan’s southern province of Khatlon, including ten women, have been deported from foreign countries, primarily from the Russian Federation, since the beginning of this year.

Mahmoudjon Khorkashev, head of the Tajik migration service agency’s office in Khatlon, says the majority of them were deported from Russia for failing to register within seven days of their arrival in Russia.

According to him, 303 residents of Khatlon were deported from foreign countries, primarily from the Russian Federation last year.  The majority of them were deported from Russia for the same reason – failure to register within the given period.
