KULOB, April 12, 2014, Asia-Plus – A salt-making plant Khoja Mumin in Khatlon’s Vose district has begun supplying iodized salt to Kyrgyzstan.
“To-date, we have concluded contracts on salt deliveries with two Kyrgyz companies,” said the plant deputy director, Nourullo Ismoilov. “We are currently also conducting negotiations on salt deliveries with commercial companies from Russia, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan.”
According to him, they have recently introduced into operation a modern line with daily capacity of 120 tons of salt that will allow producing several types of products, including the fine salt.
Besides Khoja Mumin, seven other mini saltworks now operate in Vose.
