On 26 August, a protest of parents and university applicants took place in front of the National Testing Center. They had arrived there for re-registration.
The re-registration is not meant for those who did not pass on 1 August. Over 7 thousand applicants, who could not pass the first Tajik centralized university entrance examinations, have an opportunity to re-register in 5 registration centers throughout the country between 26 and 28 August.
However, many applicants and their parents still consider coming to the capital as their obligation in order to be sure, or because they do not know.
Most of those who were in front of the Testing Center were from remote regions.
