DUSHANBE, December 19, 2014, Asia-Plus /Payrav Chorshanbiyev/ – Thirty-six countries of the world have provided almost 55 million U.S. dollars worth of more than 10,100 tons of humanitarian aid to Tajikistan in January-November this year, according to the Agency for Statistics under the President of Tajikistan.
Over the report period, among the donor countries the greatest share in value came from United States – 59.5 percent; the Netherlands – 19.7 percent; China – 5.8 percent; Denmark – 3.6 percent; South Korea – 2.9 percent; Latvia – 1.9 percent; Germany – 1.3 percent, Austria – 1.1 percent; Estonia, Switzerland and India – 0.7 percent each; France – 0.5 percent; Iran – 0.4 percent; - -Denmark – 2.8 percent; Germany and Latvia – 1.4 percent each; Austria – 1.2 percent; Estonia – 0.8 percent; Switzerland – 0.7 percent; France – 0.5 percent; Iran – 0.4 percent; the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Malaysia, and Spain – 0.3 percent each; Bulgaria, Belgium, Turkey and the United Kingdom – 0.2 percent
