DUSHANBE, May 18, 2015, Asia-Plus – Twenty-seven countries of the world have provided more than 14.1 million U.S. dollars worth of about 7,000 tons of humanitarian aid to Tajikistan over the first four months of this year, according to the Agency for Statistics under the President of Tajikistan.

Over the report period, among the donor countries the greatest share in value reportedly came from Russia (26.2 percent) and the United States (18.3 percent).

Among the donor countries over the report period were also: Slovenia – 8.2 percent; the Netherlands – 6.9 percent; Kyrgyzstan – 6.8 percent; Denmark – 5.1 percent; India – 4.6 percent; China – 4.4 percent; the United Arab Emirates (UAE) – 4.2 percent; Kazakhstan – 4.0 percent; and others.
