KHUJAND, November 9, 2015, Asia-Plus -- Arab company, Al-Sharaf (phonetically spelled), will finance construction of a modern music school in the Tajik northern city of Qairaqqum.

According to the Qairaqqum mayor’s office, Ms. Matlouba Azmonzoda, Mayor of Qairaqqum, and Mr. Ahmad al-Sharaf, top manager of Al-Sharaf, laid the cornerstone of the music school on November 5.

Speaking at the cornerstone laying ceremony, Ms. Amonzoda, in particular, noted that Tajik President Emomali Rahmon and top managers of Al-Sharaf laid the cornerstone of a new state-of-the-art medical center in Qairaqqum on October 11, 2012 and the center was officially opened on April 3, 2014.  A total cost of the project was 2 million U.S. dollars.
