DUSHANBE, January 15, 2016, Asia-Plus – The Dushanbe mayor’s office has donated 2,000 computers to all the local schools.
An official source at the Dushanbe mayor’s office says 140 schools now function in the city.
“Until January 1, 2016, the Dushanbe-based schools had used 4,260 computers; the ratio had been 15 students per one computer,” said the source. “Donation of 2,000 other computers has decreased the ratio to 11.9 students per one computer.”
In Dushanbe, the school computerization program has reportedly been overfulfilled by 25.6 percent.
