DUSHANBE, April 22, 2016, Asia-Plus – On Friday April 22, President Emomali Rahmon inaugurated a new school in the Dahana village of the Yovon district in Khatlon, according to the Tajik president’s official website.
Local entrepreneur Bahriddin Jurakhonov has reportedly financed construction of this school that will accommodate 640 pupils in one shift. A total cost of the project 17 million somoni.
Jurakhonov plans to build one more modern school in the Yovon district in the near future, the website said.
During his one-day visit to Yovon, Emomali Rahmon also attended a ceremony of an official opening of kindergarten “Sitora” in the Dahana jamoat.
Construction of the kindergarten has been financed by local authorities and local entrepreneur Bahriddin Jurakhonov.
President Rahmon reportedly presented music instruments and a plasma TV set to the kindergarten.
