DUSHANBE, May 17, 2016, Asia-Plus -- Downtown Dushanbe will be left without water tomorrow due to repair of water supply network.
According to the Dushanbe Mayor’s office, they will stop the supply of drinking water to buildings located on central streets of Dushanbe, including Bokhtar and Mirsaid Mirshakar streets, from 8:00 am of May 18 to 8:00 am of May 19.
The supply of water to the building of President’s Executive Office and Choikhona (teahouse) “Rohat” will also be stopped tomorrow.
The supply of water to downtown Dushanbe will be stopped due to repair of the water supply network, a source at the Dushanbe mayor’s office said.
In this connection, Dushanbe Mayor Mahmadsaid Ubaidulloyev ordered heads of Dushanbe’s Ismoil Somoni district and State Unitary Enterprise Dushanbevodokanal (Dushanbe municipal waterworks) to use water carrying tucks to provide residents with drinking water for a day, the source said
