DUSHANBE, June 3, 2016, Asia-Plus – Twenty-one foreign nationals illegally staying in the Tajik northern province of Sughd were discovered last month.
Representatives of local law enforcement agencies carried out an operation, dubbed “Illegal,” from May 10 to May 31.
According to the press center of the Migration Service at the Ministry of Labor, Migration and Employment of the Population, 21 foreign nationals, including 11 nationals of China, two nationals of Moldova, two nationals of Uzbekistan, three nationals of Belarus and two nationals of Ukraine, have been detained during the operation for violating requirements of stay in Tajikistan.
Administrative action has been imposed upon them and protocols were sent for further consideration to a court, the source said.
