Four students from Tajik-Russian gymnasium-boarding school (TRGI) "Hotam and P.V." and Lyceum for gifted children in Dushanbe have won 4 bronze medals at the Asian International Junior Olympics in mathematics, which took place in Thailand on 14-20 August.
Tajik medalists were TRGI students: seventh-grader Shokhrukh Isomatov, 8th grade student Naim Honjonow, ninth-grader Mehron Bobohonov and Parviz Aliyev – the 9th grade student from Lyceum for gifted children.
In the overall standings Tajik team received 190 points, reports the press service of the Lyceum.
Recall that in this month the national team of Tajikistan won one silver and one bronze medals at the 28th International Olympiad in Informatics, which took place on 12-19 August in Kazan.
Silver medal of our national team was brought by the pupil of the 10th class of the Lyceum for gifted children Farkhod Hakimiyon, and bronze - 11th grade student Nodir Daminov from the Tajik-Russian gymnasium-boarding school (TRGI) "Hotam and P.V.". Tajik team was also presented by a pupil of the 10th class of TRGI Farrukh Karimov and the pupil of the 10th class of the Lyceum for gifted children Nozimjon Safarov, who have also helped their team by gaining points.
