This year, Tajikistan will celebrate the 28th anniversary of independence. Mass festivities, concerts and cultural events are planned in all cities and regions of the republic.
Tajik citizens will rest for three days in a row on the occasion of the holiday.
According to the law "On Public Holidays", September 9 is declared a day off in Tajikistan, and September 7 and 8 are Saturday and Sunday.
