Tajikistan’s first perinatal center has been established in the city Kulob. according got the Tajik president’s official website.
An official opening of the Kulob Regional Perinatal Center that took place on September 11 was attended by President Emomali Rahmon.
The Center is built in Kulob’s Borbad mahalla (urban division), not far from the regional hospital. The Kulob Regional Perinatal Center reportedly consists of casualty reception, emergency care department, medical consultation department, department of women's diseases, maternity ward, surgery ward, etc.
The Kulob Regional Perinatal Center has a total of 106 beds for patients and newborns.
In Kulob’s Shamsiddin-Shohin mahalla, Emomali Rahmon inaugurated the Regional Cardiology Center, which is provided with the state-of-the-art medical technologies and equipment.
While in Kulob, the head of state also officially unveiled inaugurated the Mother and Child Care Center on the Shamsiddin-Shohin Street.
