The other day, a video from the casting of the last season of the musical show "Come on, all together" appeared on the Internet. It attracted the attention of the audience not only by the performance of the participant, but also by the fact that the young talent turned out to be a native of Tajikistan.

Asia Plus talked with Mehroj Aminov, who won over all the jury members, about his participation in this competition and the path to a musical career.

Mehroj is 20 years old. He is originally from Dushanbe, and studies at the largest educational and scientific center of the Republic of Mari El Volga State University of Technology in the 1st year in the field of business management.

Mehroj's love of music originated in childhood. "My music teacher noticed me when I was studying at the 25th Dushanbe school", the young performer shares.

Mehroj has already started a more serious path into music in Russia: his university actively supported his creative development by sending him to competitions.

In each of them, he either won or became a laureate. By the way, one of his latest achievements was winning a competition in Saratov, where, among 350 participants in the vocal category, he won the Grand Prix and received a cash prize.

How did Mehroj get on the show "Come on all together"?

"When the jury of the project launched auditions in different cities, I thought that here Magomed is not going to the mountain, but the mountain is going to Magomed. I didn't miss the chance and went to Nizhny Novgorod," the singer jokes.

One of the songs that Mehroj performed in his unique style was "Lose Control" by Teddy Swims. His teacher notes that the performance was so successful that the song could be safely included in the repertoire.

For Mehroj, the most difficult thing in competitions is waiting for his turn. However, he admits that he hardly prepared for the last competition, everything happened spontaneously.

Nevertheless, his performance made a great impression on the jury, especially due to his ability to sing in different timbres.

Mehroj said that his loved ones are giving him great support. He plans to go further up the competitive ladder and show his full potential in order to adequately represent his homeland.

Mehroj's idols include Michael Jackson, Bruno Mars and The Weeknd, and he strives to create music in this style. He already has several original songs, which he plans to talk about in the near future.

"Success in any competition is not only to be remembered by the jury members, but also to conquer the viewer's heart. I never dreamed of awards and prizes, and for this, well, maybe 10% worked," Mehroj shared.
