An automated learning process system with an electronic e-donish program has been introduced in 150 educational institutions in Dushanbe. An electronic journal, diary, schedule, student's presence and activity in the lessons are available in the system.

Also, through e-donish, parents can track the time of arrival and departure of their child. This was reported to Asia-Plus by the department of the State Unitary Enterprise "Smart City" in Dushanbe, which is engaged in the implementation of the project.

According to the senior expert of the project implementation department of the company Dilnoza Komilzoda, the project was launched in 2021. Its goal is to digitalize the education sector and create a unified platform for managing educational activities.

"In four years, e-donish has already been implemented in all state educational institutions of the capital," says a senior specialist. "This year, it is planned to launch the program in about 40 private schools.

" The program is a set of web and mobile applications and is designed to manage the learning process. With its help, parents can keep abreast of their child's "school life" - receive daily information in the form of push notifications about grades, skipping classes and homework.

"And all this can be monitored in real time," adds Dilnoza Komilzoda.

In the electronic journal, the teacher can comment on the assessment, and when completing it, grades and homework automatically appear in the electronic diary of students.

To the question "Asia-Plus" - whether the teacher will have time to fill out both a paper and an electronic journal in 45 minutes of the lesson, the specialist replied that the system is fully automated and filling out an electronic journal takes 5 minutes, which on the contrary saves the teacher's time.

"Perhaps, over time, paper magazines and diaries will be removed, which will save time and money for their purchase. Teachers and parents will be able to check electronic journals and diaries with one click, sign and leave a comment," Komilzoda says.

Interestingly, the system records both the time of arrival and departure of children and immediately notifies parents about it. To do this, Face ID surveillance cameras with face recognition function are installed at the entrance to educational institutions.

"The new technology used makes it possible to automatically recognize the face of a student and a teacher from photographs entered into the system. That is, while at home or at work, the parent receives a push notification that his child has just entered or left the school," the specialist explains.

Also, personal files and information about students and teachers have been added to the program, which allows higher authorities to check the work of schools online.

And to manage the work of the system, an additional vacancy for the project administrator has been organized in all schools.

"The system has so far been implemented only in the Dushanbe scales, but we are ready to implement it in other regions of the republic. We have already received several requests for the implementation of the project, but we cannot provide details yet," said Dilnoza Komilzoda.

By the way, the program is completely free for all users. And to help parents, the company has organized a call center, which is open daily from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m.

"Parents can call 0021 with questions, and our specialists will definitely help, they added in the company's office," Komilzoda says.
