One of the key events of the day will be the results of the AI Horizons foresight sessions, held in different countries under the auspices of the International AI Alliance.
The program will feature presentations from scientists worldwide. For example, Ajit Abraham from Sai University in India will present on Generative AI in Healthcare, Nebojša Bačanin Jakula from Singidunum University in Serbia will discuss advancements in bio-inspired metaheuristics, and Alexander Ferreira Ramos from the University of São Paulo in Brazil will present his work on regulatory logic in transcription control at the DNA level using thermodynamic models. Anderson Rocha, from the University of Campinas in Brazil, will speak on "Revolution of Convergence: AI, Nanotechnology, Biotechnology, IoT, Robotics, and Beyond."
As part of the AIJ program, the traditional AIJ Junior track will engage young participants, with Russian experts sharing practical advice on using AI solutions for education, creativity, and personal development. Interviews with winners of international AI and STEM Olympiads will also inspire the younger audience to explore new growth opportunities in the field.
The day will conclude with the awarding of winners in the AI Challenge for young data researchers and the AIJ Contest for experienced AI specialists. The results of the open call for scientific papers for AIJ Science will be announced, with the best works being published in a scientific journal in partnership with the Russian Academy of Sciences. The best article will also receive a monetary prize.
The conference will be broadcast live in Russian, English, and Arabic on the official website, with sign language interpretation for the main stage presentations.
This landmark event will serve as a crucial platform for showcasing AI innovations, fostering international collaboration, and exploring the transformative potential of artificial intelligence for business, society, and scientific advancement.
Sberbank, one of Russia’s largest banks and a leading global financial institution, plays a key role in organizing AI Journey 2025. With about one-third of the Russian banking sector’s assets under its management, Sberbank is a major creditor to the national economy and holds a significant share of the deposit market. The Russian Federation, represented by the Ministry of Finance, is the bank’s largest shareholder, holding 50% of Sberbank’s charter capital plus one voting share. The remaining 50%, minus one voting share, is owned by Russian and international investors.
