DUSHANBE, December 30, 2015, Asia-Plus -- Head of Ghana Islamic Society said here on Wednesday that the terrorist groups are generated from Wahhabism, according to Iranian news agency IRNA .
Talking to IRNA , Ahmad Abdul Qais Abdullah made the remarks on the sideline of the 29th edition of the International Islamic Unity Conference that took place in Tehran on December 27-29.
He reportedly added the Saudi Arabia is supporting the Boko Haram Takfiri terrorist group.
He also described the Islamic Unity Conference as positive; adding the gathering of Islamic Ulema would play a pivotal role in settling the Islamic world problems.
Hundreds of Shiite and Sunni scholars as well as ministers of Muslim countries attended the gathering.
The current crises facing the Islamic world were the main subjects to be discussed in the international event that ended with issuing a final statement.
