Saeed Khatibzadeh, a spokesman for the Iranian Foreign Ministry has said that Iran attaches importance to the security and stability of Kazakhstan, and grounds should not be prepared for misuse of foreign elements there, IRNA reported on January 6.
According to the Thursday report of the Foreign Ministry information center, Khatibzadeh said that the Islamic Republic of Iran carefully observes current developments in Kazakhstan.
Iran believes that the wise people and government of the friendly country of Kazakhstan can solve their disputes and problems through dialogue based on national interests and peaceful ways without foreign interference, the spokesman was cited as saying.
The spokesman hoped that tranquility would soon return to the neighboring country, IRNA added.
