Iran and Russia have signed an agreement on the supply of Iranian equipment, repair and maintenance services and technical support for Russian aircraft.
According to Iranian Mehr news agency, this was announced by the representative of the Civil Aviation Administration of Iran, Mirakbar Razavi.
“It was decided to sign a cooperation agreement with Russia to ensure the possibility of exporting parts and equipment manufactured in Iran to the Russian Federation, as well as the implementation of repair and maintenance services and support of Russian aircraft by Iranian service centers,” Razavi was cited as saying.
The Mehr news agency says Iran and Russia also signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU), according to which the number of passenger flights will increase to 35 per week.
