DUSHANBE, April 29, 2011, Asia-Plus -- The Tajik Cabinet met yesterday.
According to the presidential press service, the meeting, presided over by President Emomali Rahmon, considered a number of issues related to socioeconomic development of the country.
Governor of Khatlon province Ghaybullo Avzalov reported on implementation of recommendations and instructions made by the president during his working visits to the province in 2005-2010.
The president pointed to the necessity of rationally using farmlands in the province, making serious preparations for repeat crop sowing, as well as taking adequate measures to ensure regular operations of industrial enterprises, launch new enterprises, create new jobs and provide food security of the country.
Ibrohim Abdulloyev, chairman of the city of Istaravshan in Sughd province, reported on measures taken by local authorities to improve housing construction in the city.
The meeting also considered and endorsed the national imunoprofylactic program for 2011-2015, the national program of innovative development of Tajikistan designed for 2011-2020, and the national concept of inclusive education for children with physical disabilities designed for 2011-2015.
Besides, the government passed the resolution that puts ban on exports of wools and skins, the source said.
