DUSHANBE, May 30, 2011, Asia-Plus -- The board (Shuro) of Tajikistan’s lower chamber (Majlisi Namoyandagon) of parliament discussed a draft law on the use of natural gas as a motor-vehicle fuel at a May 30 meeting, presided over by the Majlisi Namoyandagon speaker Shukurjon Zuhurov.
Muhammadato Sultonov, a spokesman for the Majlisi Namoyandagon, said the board also considered a bill on mobilization preparation and mobilization as well as amendments to the law on combating corruption.
The board also discussed an agreement between Tajikistan and Austria on encouragement and mutual protection of investments and an agreement between the CIS nations on the procedure of financial, technical and logistical provision for the CIS collective peacekeeping force.
These issues will be considered at the next sitting of the second session of the Majlisi Namoyandagon of the fourth convocation that will take place on June 1, Sultonov said.
