DUSHANBE, June 28, 2011, Asia-Plus -- On Tuesday June 28, President Emomali Rahmon signed a number of laws that were adopted by the Majlisi Namoyandagon (Tajikistan’s lower chamber of parliament) and seconded by the Majlisi Milli (Tajikistan’s upper chamber of parliament).
Among them are laws on the national bank of Tajikistan (NBT), equity market, state finances of Tajikistan, chamber of accounts of Tajikistan, and the procedure of holding a suspect or a defendant in custody.
The head of state also signed laws requiring amendments to the laws on the state youth policy and assistance to employment as well as the administrative code.
