DUSHANBE, September 1, 2011, Asia-Plus – A number of jubilee facilities have been put in commission in Dushanbe today.
President Emomali Rahmon has reportedly attended ceremonies of opening of the facilities.
According to the presidential press service, a new four-story building of schools # 98 was officially opened in the Navrouzi settlement, Dushanbe’s Ismoili Somoni district. 10 million somoni have been spent for construction of the school building that accommodates 1,280 pupils.
Besides, a new cable manufacturing plant has been introduced into operation in Dushanbe. TALCO Management LTD in cooperation with European companies constructed the plant and 144 million somoni were reportedly spent for construction of the plant. The plant has capacity of processing of 10,000 tons of primary aluminum per year.
In Dushanbe’s Firdavsi district, President Rahmon attended a groundbreaking ceremony for construction of a plant for assembling trolleybuses and bicycles. The plant will have capacity to assemble 100 trolleybuses and 10,000 bicycles per year.
