DUSHANBE, December 29, 2011, Asia-Plus -- President Emomali Rahmon yesterday ordered heads of ministries, agencies and enterprises as well as chairpersons of regions, cities and districts to take adequate measures to provide humanitarian aid to the most vulnerable sections of the population, people with disabilities and orphaned children on the occasion of New Year.
According to the presidential press service, the head of state also called on businesspeople to join that charitable action.
The president expressed confidence that such actions would be conducted on a regular basis, the source said.
