KULOB, December 2, 2013, Asia-Plus -- A private entrepreneur from the village of Kongurt in the Temourmalik district (Khatlon province), Anvar Qurbonov, is financing construction of two facilities in the village – a two-story choikhona (teahouse) and a 3-story service center.
A total cost of both facilities is 13 million somoni. The new facilities are expected to create 150 new jobs.
Meanwhile, the work on construction of six bridge across the Obi Tohir River is under way in the Kongurt and Qaraqamish jamoats. “A 120-meter bridges being constructed in area will connect six villages to the administrative center of the district,” Amirkhon Yoqubov, a secretary of the Qaraqamish jamoat, told Asia-Plus in an interview.
