DUSHANBE, April 7, 2014, Asia-Plus -- To facilitate servicing of physically impaired persons, Open Joint-Stock Company (OJSC) Dushanbe International Airport (DIA) has bought ambulift, manufactured at a French multinational vehicle manufacturer, Renault.
“Provided with the state-of-the-art equipment, this four-seat ambulift is suitable for all types of aircraft with doors having height from 1.3 to 5.8 meters,” a source at DIA told Asia-Plus in an interview, noting that UTair-Leasing LLC has airlifted the ambulift to Tajikistan.
According to him, new equipment is being purchased within the framework of modernization of the Dushanbe airport.
