DUSHANBE, April 27, 2014, Asia-Plus – On the occasion of the Day of Unity that is celebrated in Tajikistan on June 27, the Dushanbe mayor’s office will arrange simultaneous wedding ceremony for 90 couples and circumcision party for 360 boys from underprivileged families.
Shavkat Saidov, a spokesman for the Dushanbe mayor’s office, says that the decision on holding simultaneous wedding ceremony and circumcision party was made at the 18th session of the Dushanbe local council (Majlis) that took place on April 25.
Dushanbe legislature members also discussed issues related to preparations for autumn-winter period 2014-2015 and the sanitary and environmental situation in the city, Saidov said.
