National Bank of Tajikistan cancelled two microcredit funds’ permits.
As it was reported to Asia-Plus in the National Bank’s press service, Oxsus and Haymahmadi microcredit funds’ permits have been cancelled. The source said: “The decision was taken due to the fact that the funds did not work for a long time, and did not provide financial reporting.”
According to the decision, the abovementioned funds are excluded from the microcredit organizations roaster.
Oxsus head office was in the capital, while Haymahmadi head office was in Bustan jamaat of Fayzabad District.
According to the National Bank, after the two organizations’ elimination, the number of microcredit funds in Tajikistan has reached 37. The source added: “However, some of them don’t work in fact, and their permits may also be cancelled in the near future.”
