DUSHANBE, June 2, 2015, Asia-Plus -- Iranian Interior Minister Abdulreza Rahmani Fazli is expected to arrive in Dushanbe on Thursday to attend the ministerial meeting of Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO).
Iran’s news agency IRNA reports that during his three-day stay in Tajikistan, Rahmani Fazli will also hold talks with Tajik officials to consider bilateral relations.
We will recall that a meeting of interior ministers from the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) member nations is expected to take place in Dushanbe from June 4-5. The meeting will focus on cybercrime prevention issues. The meeting will also discuss issues related to coordination of activities of the SCO law enforcement agencies in combating transnational crime and trafficking in weapons and drugs.
Meanwhile, I RNA reported on May 31 that on the eve of the CSO ministerial meeting in Dushanbe, Tajikistan voiced its support for Iran''s permanent membership in the important international organization.
