DUSHANBE, June 8, 2015, Asia-Plus -- Iran''s Ambassador to Tajikistan Hojatollah Faghani has said Tehran and Dushanbe are witnessing opening of a new chapter in bilateral relations.
Faghani told IRNA on Sunday that exchange of high-ranking delegations between the two countries indicates positive interaction between the two capitals.
He further referred to the visit to Tajikistan of Commander of Iran’s Border Guards Brigadier General Qasem Rezaei, Interior Minister Abdolreza Rahmani-Fazli and Energy Minister Hamid Chitchian as latest examples of exchange of visits between officials of the two countries.
Faghani said such visits aim at strengthening Tehran-Dushanbe cooperation in international and regional arenas.
