DUSHANBE, June 10, 2015, Asia-Plus - On Wednesday June 10, Tajik President Emomali Rahmon met here with Dr. Mohammed Saleh Al-Sada, the Minister of Energy and Industry of Qatar.
According to the Tajik president’s official website, state and prospects of further expansion of economic cooperation between the two countries was a major topic of the meeting.
Emomali Rahmon reportedly referred to construction of the Diar Dushanbe neighborhood unit and Central Asia’s largest mosque in Dushanbe as an example of good cooperation.
The two sides also discussed issues related to establishing Qatar’s merchant bank in Tajikistan and the progress of implementation of a number of projects in Tajikistan under financial support of the Qatar Fund, the source said.
