The total external debt of Tajikistan on April 1 of this year amounted to about $ 2 billion 909 million, the ministry of finance of the republic reports. At the beginning of this year, external debt amounted to $ 2 billion 888 million.
About 95% of the total external debt falls on direct government debt, which was attracted to perform the services of the government of the republic - almost $ 2 billion 764 million.
Debts with a state guarantee in the structure of external debt amount to $ 79.8 million. Debts of state-owned enterprises that do not have a government guarantee amount to $ 31.5 million.
Debts of the National Bank of Tajikistan to the International Monetary Fund, China, Islamic Development Bank total $ 34 million.
