Kazakhstan decreased gas output by 1.2% in January-March compared with the same period in 2008, Interfax reported with reference to the Government.
Gas output amounted to 8.614.096 billion cubic meters in January-March.
4.564.062 billion cubic meters of natural gas has been produced, which comprises 90.5% compared with the same period in 2008).
Gas output in March 2009 amounted to 2.859.452 billion cubic meters.
