Around 1 billion Uzbek sum was allocated for modernization of processing enterprises of Karakalpakstan - Eggar JSC and Turan Hodjeili JSC.

Equipment and necessary devices are being installed at Beruni Talk and Karauziak Vermi. Over 260 million sums will be spent for modernization of Eltex JSC that produces denim fabric.

The 2009-2012 anti-crisis program envisages increase in a number of livestock from over 720 thousand to 1.5 billion.

The 2009 employment program will provide jobs to 47,500 people. 302 billion sums will be allocated for this purpose. Since the beginning of the year around 10 thousand work places have been created in Karakalpakstan.
