DUSHANBE, January 23, Asia-Plus -- A joint operation carried out by the Interior Ministry’s department for combating drug trafficking (drug police) and the Tajik border troops in the area of the Frontier Post “Mehrobod” in Farkhor District (Khatlon) on the night of January 21-22 led to the arrest of Afghan drug trafficker Saidgul valadi Bismilloh at the Tajik-Afghan border, according to information from the State Committee for Protection of National Border of Tajikistan.
More than 60 kilograms of drugs, including more than 40 kilograms of heroin, more than 2 kilograms of raw opium and a sack of cannabis were confiscated from him, according to the source in the Tajik border service.
