DUSHANBE, February 2, 2009, Asia-Plus – According to a source at President’s Executive Office, the issue of participation of President Emomali Rahmon at summits of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) and the Eurasian Economic Community (EAEC) that will be held in Moscow on February 4 still remains open.
Reliable sources in the government say the issue may be solved before the end of this day.
The source at president’s office noted that working group for preparation of Rahmon’s visits to Moscow, the Baltic nations, Belgium and Croatia completed its work on preparation of necessary documents last Sunday.
We will recall that a number of foreign media reported on January 31 and February 1 that Tajik leader had canceled all his foreign visits scheduled for the first half of February in connection with the current energy crisis in Tajikistan.
