Tajik Foreign Minister Sirojiddin Muhriddin met with Pakistani Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on January 23 in Tashkent on January 23 on the sidelines of the 26th meeting of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) Council of Ministers.
According to the Tajik MFA information department, the ministers discussed the state and prospects of further expansion of bilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and Pakistan.
The parties also exchanged views on a number of regional and international issues being of mutual interest as well as the implementation of agreements reached during Tajik President Emomali Rahmon’s official visit to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan on December 14-15, 2022.
Born on September 21, 1988, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari became the youngest Foreign Minister of Pakistan (37th) on April 27, 2022. He heads the second largest coalition party, Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) in the current Government.
