On Wednesday May 29, foreign ministers of Central Asia’s nations met in Rome with top managers of influential Italian companies on the sidelines of the Third Ministerial Meeting “Italy + Central Asia”.
The Tajik MFA information department says they met with top managers of more than 30 Italian companies, including Ansaldio Energia, IVECO Group, MERMEC, SAIPEM, SACE and others.
During the meeting, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan, Sirojiddin Muhriddin, presented the economic potential of Tajikistan sectors like hydropower, industry, mining and tourism as well as the opportunities of investing in Tajikistan’s economy.
The meeting participants reportedly also exchanged views on the issues of the comprehensive development of regional and international relations.
